Ibi Issolah Director
Ibi started as a part-time bartender at the Café Royal. He then applied for a position as 'chef de rang' at Conran Restaurants' newly opened Le Pont de La Tour in the early 1990's.
Almost five years of working for Conran Restaurants followed, first at Pont and then at Butlers Wharf Chophouse, where Ibi worked his way up to assistant manager.
Then an introduction to restaurateur Oliver Peyton led to him being offered arguably the best front-of-house job in London at the time; manager of the Atlantic Bar & Grill.
By early 2002, Ibi felt ready to open his own restaurant: L’Etranger. Opal Bar followed, with Beauberry House becoming the third of the company's restaurants.
Jerome Tauvron Executive Chef
Between 1989 and 1995 under the watchful eye of Michel Rubod in Commentry (France) and Patrick Henriroux at La Pyramide Fernand Point, Vienne (France), Jerome started his career as a 'Commis de cuisine' and then went on to work as 'Chef de Partie' at Les Prés d’Eugènie with Michel Guerard and Pierre Gagnaire’s famous restaurant in St Etienne (France) before moving onto the famous Le Louix XV, Monaco, with Alain Ducasse.
This was to be an invaluable experience and allowed him to perfect his already acquired talent.
Prior to his arrival in London, 2 years were spent at yet another famous restaurant Le Lion d’Or, Estivareilles (France), this time as Head Chef.
Jerôme then had an opportunity to work with Marco Pierre White’s at Quo Vadis and took the chance.
His talent did not go unnoticed and he soon found himself Executive Chef at Ozer and Head Chef at The Harrington Club, before his partnership began with L’Etranger.
Oleia Leclercq Events Manager, Winner of Best Wedding Co-ordinator for London and The South East for the Wedding Industry Awards 2012
In London, since 1996, and following a chance meeting with an ex colleague, Oleia was reunited with her former General Manager from Dublin joining his team at Vong at the Berkeley Hotel (whilst also pursuing her studies in hospitality and catering business management). Within two and a half years Oleia climbed the ranks from waitress to assistant restaurant manager, gaining along the way recognition from the GAP board of appreciation for her excellent services. This was followed by Front of House managing positions at Momo’s, Hush (launch team), the re-launch of Levant, Vinopolis Restaurant, The Admiralty at Somerset House (Launch team), and many more until The Atlantic Bar and Grill, (launching venues becoming a specialty of hers) where she worked with her current boss and owner of Beauberry House Ibi Issolah. They have been firm friends ever since. Oleia was then Ibi’s first recruit for the opening of the company’s restaurant l’Etranger (in December 2002) and has been at the helm as a General Manager from 2006 and of the events team since 2009 here at Beauberry House.
Kamel Issolah Restaurant Manager
In London since 1994, Kamel joined his Brother Ibi Issollah (current owner of Beauberry House and back then manager of The Atlantic Bar & Grill) as a waiter. By the time The Atlantic closed its doors in 2005, he had reached the rank of Restaurant Manager. This was a to be a ‘God Send’ for Ibi, as he had just purchased Beauberry House and needed a Restaurant Manager to take the helm, which Kamel has done ever since. As they say: The Rest is History...
